15-03-2021 : Governor participated in the program organized for women empowerment by Ipro Global Limited

Governor Smt Baby Rani Maurya participated in the program organized for Empowerment of Women by Ipro Global Limited in Roorkee, Haridwar on Monday. The Governor interacted with the women present and inquired about the work being done by them for the development and welfare of women.

Said that it is a matter of happiness that women associated with social work include teachers, entrepreneurs, doctors, engineers, social workers, lawyers and self-employed women. Working women influence me a lot. His struggling life is also inspiring. She is working very hard for employment while fulfilling the responsibilities of her family and children.
The Governor said that there are hundreds of examples of unprecedented successes of women in various fields. The most important role in India’s Mangalyaan expedition was that of women scientists. Today, in many countries of the world, women are the heads of states and prime ministers. Women are working in various political and administrative positions. There was also a situation in the time of Kovid-19, when we found that women-led nations fared better against this epidemic.

Governor Smt. Maurya said that in India also, women officers, scientists and doctors had taken advance against Kovid-19. Mahila Shakti is the backbone of the social and economic system in Uttarakhand. Everywhere, whether in administration, industry, or self-employment, women have proved their worth. Be it the Indian Air Force fighter stream or military police, women are working shoulder to shoulder with men in all the challenging places.
The Governor informed the women about the Sadi Bank and requested the able women to contribute in it.
