Respected dignitaries on the dais, revered saints and spiritual leaders, elected representatives, members of the Matri Shakti, young friends, and all devotees present here,

Today is an occasion of immense joy, happiness, and warmth. We have gathered here to celebrate the birth anniversary of one of Uttarakhand’s senior public representatives, spiritual guides, humanitarian thinkers, and dedicated public servants, Shri Satpal Maharaj Ji.

On this auspicious occasion, I extend my heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to Shri Satpal Maharaj Ji. I pray to the Almighty to bless him with good health, longevity, energy, and continued strength to serve society and the nation.

Born in the sacred land of Haridwar, Shri Satpal Maharaj Ji’s life is an inspiring example of the harmonious confluence of spirituality, sadhana, humanity, and public service. Haridwar is not merely a city; it is a living heritage of Indian spirituality, penance, meditation, and Sanatan consciousness that has flowed through the ages.

The pure and sacred waters of Maa Ganga, the Himalayan land of tapasya, and the great spiritual tradition of sages and seers have deeply influenced the personality and outlook of Shri Satpal Maharaj Ji. His life reflects this great Sanatan tradition through his spiritual pursuit, compassion for humanity, commitment to service, and dedication to the welfare of society.

You have not confined spirituality merely to personal spiritual practice; rather, you have made it a means of serving humanity, promoting social harmony, and contributing to national service. This is among the most inspiring aspects of your personality.

Our Sanatan culture is not merely a collection of rituals and traditions. It is a way of life that guides an individual towards self-realisation, compassion, service, discipline, and the welfare of all. It inspires us to rise above ourselves and dedicate our lives to the welfare of society and humanity at large.

It is in this great tradition that we pray:

“Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramayah;
Sarve Bhadrani Pashyantu, Ma Kashchid-Duhkha-Bhag-Bhavet.”

May all be happy, may all be free from illness, may all see what is auspicious, and may no one suffer.

This is the fundamental spirit of Sanatan spirituality—to look beyond our own happiness and wish for the happiness of all, and to dedicate our lives to the welfare of society.

This spirit is clearly reflected in the spiritual journey of Shri Satpal Maharaj Ji. Through the Manav Utthan Sewa Samiti, he has carried the message of Manav Dharma, self-knowledge, harmony, love, and service across India and the world. His spirituality has not remained confined to individual practice; it has become a means of serving humanity and contributing to social upliftment.

I believe that true spirituality does not make an individual withdraw from the world. Rather, it makes a person more conscious of his or her responsibilities. The universality of our Sanatan tradition is beautifully expressed in the timeless words:

“Ayam Nijah Paro Veti Gananā Laghuchetasām;
Udaracharitanām Tu Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.”

For those of noble character, the entire world is one family.

The message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam is immensely relevant to humanity today. Through the ideals of Manav Dharma, harmony, and Sarva Dharma Samabhava, Shri Satpal Maharaj Ji has worked to carry forward this universal consciousness.

Our spiritual tradition also teaches us that service to the nation is itself a great form of sadhana. When an individual rises above personal interests and places the welfare of society and the nation above self, life becomes an instrument of nation-building. This is the very essence of ‘Nation First’.

Today, our country is moving forward with the resolve of Viksit Bharat. A developed India is not merely a goal of economic and material prosperity; it is also a commitment to building an empowered, cultured, confident, and self-reliant India. Development becomes truly meaningful when human welfare remains at its centre and ethics form its foundation.

I am confident that the harmonious integration of Sanatan values, spirituality, the spirit of Nation First, and the vision of Viksit Bharat will take India to new heights.

The same harmony can also be seen in Shri Satpal Maharaj Ji’s public life. Through his responsibilities in important areas such as Public Works, Tourism, Irrigation, Culture, and Religious Affairs, he has been contributing to the development and service of Uttarakhand.

Our Char Dham Yatra, pilgrimage traditions, cultural heritage, and spiritual tourism are integral to Uttarakhand’s identity.

The identity of Uttarakhand is not defined merely by its geographical boundaries; it is deeply rooted in its spiritual consciousness. Here, the Himalayas are not merely mountains—they are symbols of sadhana. The Ganga is not merely a river—it is a source of faith and a lifeline of our civilisation.

Therefore, the development of Devbhoomi must be such that our spiritual heritage remains protected, our cultural roots grow stronger, and new opportunities for modern development continue to emerge.

Development and heritage are not contradictory; they are complementary to each other.

On this sacred occasion of Shri Satpal Maharaj Ji’s birth anniversary, I pray that his journey of spiritual practice, service to humanity, and public service continues to progress with ever greater strength.

May his experience and guidance continue to inspire our young generation towards self-realisation, values, service, harmony, and the spirit of Nation First.

The life of Shri Satpal Maharaj Ji conveys a profound message:
