14-04-2022:Governor participated on the occasion of completion of Sri Anand Sahib of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji .

Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd), Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, Cabinet Ministers Shri Ganesh Joshi, Shri Saurabh Bahuguna, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Chief Secretary Dr. S S Sandhu and Director General of Police Shri Ashok Kumar, senior officials and dignitaries of the state participated in Ardas and Bhog on the occasion of completion of Sri Anand Sahib of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji at Raj Bhawan on Thursday. The Tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh’s Panj Pyare Bhai Daya Singh and Bhai Dharam Singh’s descendants Baba Naunihal Singh and Shri Gurpreet Singh were also present on this occasion. For the happiness and prosperity of the state, 48 hours Shree Akhand Path was organized by Governor at Raj Bhawan from April 12 to April 14, the day of Baisakhi. On this occasion, Sikh representatives felicitated Governor Lt. Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) and Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami by presenting saropa. Along with this, langar was also organized in Raj Bhawan, in which all the dignitaries as well as officers and personnel of Raj Bhawan and their families were present.

On the occasion, President of Race Course Gurdwara, Shri Balbir Singh Sahni and President of Aadhat Bazar Gurdwara, Dehradun Shri Gurbaksh Singh Rajan and people of Sikh community were also present.
