    29-04-2021:Governor received information through video conferencing from military authorities to treat Covid -19.

    Governor Smt. Baby Rani Maurya on Thursday received information through video conferencing from military officers about the preparedness of military hospitals in the state for the treatment of COVID-19.
    Governor Smt. Maurya said that the help of ex-servicemen and military personnel should be taken in the prevention and awareness campaign against Kovid-19. Everyone has to work together in prevention and prevention of Kovid-19. For this an effective action plan should be prepared soon.
    During the video conferencing, GOC Sub Area informed that five military hospitals of Uttarakhand, Dehradun, Roorkee, Ranikhet, Pithoragarh and Lansdowne are available for the treatment of Kovid-19. Military Hospital Dehradun has 246 Covid beds with 50 oxygen beds and Military Hospital Roorkee has 126 Covid beds with 50 oxygen beds. The process of increasing oxygen beds in Military Hospital Dehradun is in progress. RTPCR test and rapid test are being conducted every day at Military Hospital Dehradun and Roorkee.
    Director, Sainik Welfare informed that around 300 ex-servicemen are willing to render their services during the crisis of Kovid-19. If necessary, their services can be taken with the help of police and for security and crowd control in hospitals.
    The Managing Director, UPNL informed that the vacancies of about 298 people have been received from both the divisions of the state. In which the need for the services of 105 staff nurses and 40 ward boys has been told. So far 270 people have been employed by UPNL during the carona period.
    Commandant, Military Hospital Dehradun informed that medical advice is also being provided by the hospital over telephone.
