    Members of The Uttarakhand Civil Service Officers Wives Association met Governor Smt. Baby Rani Maurya at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. Association President Mrs. Deepa Om Prakash invited Governor Mrs. Maurya to inaugurate a two-day fair organized by Sanjeevani, a non-profit organization run by the wives of civil services officers of Uttarakhand. This fair will be held on 20 and 21 February in Women’s ITI, Survey Check Dehradun. Products will be promoted by women and small artisans through the fair.
    Appreciating the efforts of The Uttarakhand Civil Service Officers Wives Association, Governor Smt. Maurya said that Sanjivani Sanstha is doing a commendable work for the upliftment of women and small artisans. This will encourage women empowerment as well as local products and crafts.
    It is noteworthy that Sanjeevani, a non-profit organization run by the wives of the civil services officers of Uttarakhand, has been working for the empowerment and upliftment of women and children in the state for the last two decades. Through this institution, work is being done by the wives of the civil services of the state to provide self-employment, education, medical and health services to the needy women.
    Mrs. Anuradha Sudhanshu and Mrs. Mudita Sant were present on this occasion.
