Governor Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Gurmit Singh has wished all the people of the state on the occasion of festival of “Vijayadashmi/Dussehra” and wished for their happiness and prosperity.

Governor said that Vijayadashmi symbolizes the victory of good over evil and reminds us that truth always triumphs. This festival also gives inspiration to follow the life teachings of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram. The Governor has called upon the people of the state to celebrate this festival with the spirit of brotherhood, peace and harmony. He also appealed to celebrate the festival by following the COVID-19 guidelines.
