Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) has congratulated the famous folk singer of Uttarakhand Shri Narendra Singh Negi and Shri Diwan Singh Bajeli for being conferred with the prestigious Sangeet Natya Akademi Award at the national level for their contribution in the field of folk singing and acting respectively. In his congratulatory message, the Governor said that the honor given to Shri Narendra Singh Negi in the field of local folk singing and Shri Diwan Singh Bajeli in the field of acting is an honor to Uttarakhand and its folk arts.
