The Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), was paid a courtesy visit on Monday at Lok Bhavan by Prof. (Dr.) Anubha Singh, Vice-Chancellor of COER University, Roorkee. During the meeting, she delivered a presentation on initiatives based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern technologies. The presentation also highlighted the university’s ongoing work in the fields of AI and technology, along with its future plans.

The Governor emphasized the importance of innovation, research, and the effective use of modern technologies in education. He stated that higher educational institutions should continuously strive to equip students with the skills and technical expertise required to meet future challenges.

Also present on the occasion were Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor of COER University, and Dr. Deepak Painuly, Associate Professor.
