Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) on Tuesday celebrated his birthday with simplicity with 50 children of orphanage “Apana Ghar”. Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) and first Lady of the state, Smt. Gurmit Kaur invited the children in Raj Bhawan on this occasion. The governor had informal interaction with the children and encouraged them. He talked about achieving the big goals while facing the challenges of life with hard work, courage, passion and honesty.
