Sunderban National Park, West Bengal
Sundarbans has the largest mangrove forest in the world with a large number of Royal Bengal Tigers. Wetland to marine organisms has 78 species of mangroves as recorded across the forest. Sundarbans covers an area of around 10,000km2 in the delta of Ganges and lies on the south-east of Kolkata and borders the Bay of Bengal.

How to Reach
By Air
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport at Kolkata is the nearest airport to Sundarban. Both domestic as well as international tourists can disembark here to reach Sundarban.
By Train
Canning is the nearest railway station to the Sundarban. Local trains run from Sealdah Station throughout the day.
By Road
The tourists need to first reach Kolkata and then they can travel on a bus from Esplanade (Kolkata) or Howrah.
