09-11-2021 : Governor inaugurated the STP Residual Water Recharge Water ATM set up by the Japanese Environment Ministry-affiliated DAIKI Company at Raj Bhawan on the occasion of State Foundation Day.

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) on Tuesday inaugurated the STP Residual Water Recharge Water ATM set up by the Japanese Environment Ministry-affiliated DAIKI Company at Raj Bhawan on the occasion of State Foundation Day. This water ATM can make water up to 100% reusable. DAIKI Company envisages to set up such STP Residual Water Recharge Water ATMs at 200 locations in India.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor said that clean water is the biggest challenge today. Out of the four Dhams of our state, Gangotri and Yamunotri are the water sources which we worship. The country gets 40 percent of its water from Uttarakhand. We have a huge responsibility towards the country. Cleanliness and conservation of water should be our priority. The Governor appealed to the people to contribute in water conservation and water conservation.
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed happiness over the launch of this STP Residual Water Recharge Water ATM from Raj Bhawan on the occasion of State Foundation Day. He exhorted the youth to become water entrepreneurs.
Additional Principal Secretary Shr Abhinav Kumar, Shri Rio Waja from Deki Company, Prof. Dugresh Pant, research scholars and students were present.
