The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), met the Vice-Chancellor of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Prof. Ramakant Pandey, at Lok Bhavan on Wednesday during a courtesy call.

On the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor gave a detailed presentation to the Governor on the University’s academic activities, research and innovation initiatives, and its future roadmap. The Governor emphasized the need to further promote the Indian Knowledge System, the development of the Sanskrit language, and high-quality education and research at the University.

Additional Secretary Mrs. Reena Joshi was also present at the meeting.
