The Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), met with the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Horticulture and Forestry University, Dr. Bhagwati Prasad Bhatt, during a courtesy call at Lok Bhawan on Thursday.

On the occasion, the Governor congratulated Dr. Bhatt on his new appointment and expressed the hope that, under his leadership, the university would promote research and innovation in the fields of horticulture, forestry, and mountain agriculture.
