Governor and Chief Minister dedicate 51 development projects worth ₹219.29 crore to Dehradun district

The Governor, Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.), and the Chief Minister, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, on Saturday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 51 development projects worth ₹219.29 crore during the “Seva Pakhwada” programme held at IDPL Ground, Rishikesh. The projects include the foundation laying of 38 development works worth ₹172.78 crore and the inauguration of 13 completed projects worth ₹46.50 crore, giving a significant boost to infrastructure and public development across Dehradun district.

Construction of an interlocking tile road from the residence of Lalit Mohan Bhadola to Bhadrakali Temple in Gram Panchayat Bhagwanpur, Sahaspur Assembly Constituency – ₹61.87 lakh.
Surface improvement through interlocking tiles on the Malsi Link Road from Km 13 of the Mussoorie Motor Road – ₹66.41 lakh.
Improvement of internal roads in Doon Vihar, Mussoorie Assembly Constituency – ₹132.52 lakh.
Construction of an interlocking tile road from Bilaspur Main Road to Bilaspur Enclave, Dehradun – ₹210.61 lakh.
Construction and improvement of internal roads and drains in Ward No. 8, Salawala – ₹181.74 lakh.
Construction of an interlocking tile road from Sudama’s house to Balveer’s house in Village Doonga, Sahaspur Assembly Constituency – ₹48.14 lakh.
Construction of a 20-metre RCC girder bridge at Chainage 0.35 km on New Cantt Road, Salawala, Mussoorie Assembly Constituency – ₹541.28 lakh.
Construction of a two-lane 30-metre PSC girder bridge at Chainage 1.625 km on New Cantt Road, Mussoorie Assembly Constituency – ₹536.10 lakh.
Interlocking tile works in Lakshmipuram and Prayag Enclave, Ward No. 99, Doiwala – ₹96.07 lakh.
Construction of interlocking tile roads in Nageshwar Puram, Chitra Vihar and adjoining localities at Nakraunda – ₹87.75 lakh.
Reconstruction of 20 km of disaster-damaged main and internal roads, including drains, in Raipur Mandal (Phase II) – ₹775.77 lakh.
Cleaning of the Asan River and construction of retaining walls from Chandrabani to Harbhajwala in Dharampur (Phase II) – ₹611.54 lakh.
Channelization works on the Song River from Gurjar Basti to Oasis School in Raipur – ₹246.14 lakh.
Flood protection works upstream of Doodha Devi Bridge on both banks of the Suswa River within the Municipal Corporation area – ₹321.84 lakh.
Flood protection works at various locations along the Dulhani River in Doiwala, including Lakshman Siddh Colony, Nakraunda Road, Vivek Vihar, Vayu Vihar, Nirmal Colony, Vanasthalipuram and Delhi Farm – ₹412.70 lakh.
Flood protection works in the drain flowing through Defence Colony and Jogiwala Badripur in Raipur Development Block – ₹460.45 lakh.
Pipe canal construction at Village Sunoda, Gram Panchayat Mathiyana, Chakrata Development Block – ₹99.06 lakh.
