Special Health Camp Organised at Lok Bhavan, Nainital
Specialist doctors conducted around 150 health check-ups and 15 ECG tests, and provided health-related consultations

A one-day special health camp was organised at Lok Bhavan, Nainital, for officers, employees and their family members. The objective of the camp was to ensure early detection of various illnesses through regular health check-ups and to promote awareness towards better health.
Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) inspected the health camp and obtained information from doctors and health personnel regarding the medical facilities available and the arrangements made for health examinations. He also interacted with the officers, employees and their family members present at the camp, enquired about their well-being, and urged everyone to remain vigilant about their health.
During the camp, specialist doctors from B.D. Pandey District Hospital conducted around 150 various health check-ups and also performed 15 ECG tests. Along with necessary medical consultations, participants were also provided essential health guidance.
At the camp, health examinations and specialist consultations related to various ailments were provided by Cardiologist Dr. Sudhanshu Singh, General Physician Dr. Abhishek Gupta, General Surgeon Dr. Shadan Ali, Ophthalmic Surgeon Dr. Deepika Lohani, Pathologist Dr. Priyanshu, and Psychiatrist Dr. Garima.
On this occasion, the Governor said that a healthy lifestyle, regular health check-ups, and timely medical consultation play an important role in preventing serious diseases. He said that the good health of every member of the Lok Bhavan family is among his priorities, and with this objective, such health camps will continue to be organised from time to time.
On the occasion, the Governor also honoured seven healthcare personnel for their outstanding service at B.D. Pandey District Hospital. He expressed gratitude to all the doctors and health workers who rendered their services at the health camp and appreciated their dedication and spirit of service.
