A significant deliberation on the theme “Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across various sectors” was held at Telangana Lok Bhawan today, with the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), adding importance to the event.

The program witnessed participation from experienced experts associated with defence, counter-drone technology, aviation and amphibious systems, healthcare, and the armed forces. They shared insights on the applications, opportunities, and challenges of artificial intelligence in their respective domains.

In his address, the Governor stated that artificial intelligence is no longer merely a technological concept, but a transformative force reshaping governance, security, healthcare, and development. He emphasized that AI must be used with responsibility, transparency, and ethical values to ensure that its benefits reach every section of society.

During the deliberations, experts highlighted that AI-based counter-drone systems are emerging as effective solutions to modern security challenges in the defence sector. In aviation and amphibious technologies, AI is enabling faster and safer disaster response, particularly in mountainous and remote regions.

Speaking on healthcare, experts noted that AI can play a vital role in extending medical services to remote areas, enabling early diagnosis of diseases, and strengthening telemedicine systems.
