    Special Screening of Short Film “Misty” Held at Lok Bhawan; Governor Appreciates

    A special screening of the short film Misty was held at Lok Bhawan on Saturday. Hon’ble Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) attended the event as the Chief Guest. Artists, filmmakers, intellectuals, and other distinguished guests associated with the film were present on the occasion.

    “Misty” is an emotionally driven short film that highlights the natural beauty of Uttarakhand, its cultural life, and human emotions. Through the symbolism of mist, the film brings out a sense of mystery and inner calm, offering a unique experience to the audience.

    On this occasion, the Governor said that “Misty” presents a vivid and impactful portrayal of Uttarakhand’s natural beauty and cultural sensibilities. He remarked that seeing the state’s cultural richness on screen evokes a sense of pride and connection.

    The Governor congratulated the film’s lead actor Shri Satish Sharma, director Shri Raja Chatterjee, and producer Smt. Sakshi Shail Chatterjee for presenting an excellent work that showcases the beauty of Uttarakhand from a fresh perspective. He stated that the film is not limited to entertainment but also serves as a powerful medium to promote the state’s natural and cultural heritage on a wider platform.

    He further noted that such creative initiatives play an important role in promoting tourism, generating local employment opportunities, and establishing Uttarakhand as a major hub for film production.

    The Governor extended his best wishes to the entire team of “Misty” and expressed hope that the film will be widely appreciated and touch the hearts of audiences. On this occasion, First Lady Smt. Gurmit Kaur, Shri Upendra Sharma, along with artists, intellectuals, and other distinguished guests, were present.
