Governor offered prayers at Shri Harmandir Sahib, prayed for prosperity and well-being of the nation and the state

The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), today paid obeisance at the sacred Shri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar. On this occasion, he offered prayers for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the nation and the state.

The Governor said, “Shri Harmandir Sahib is not just a religious place, but a divine confluence of humanity, equality, and selfless service. The resonance of Gurbani here, the spiritual calm of the holy sarovar, and the spirit of service visible all around deeply touch the soul.”

He further said that this sacred place teaches us that true devotion lies not only in prayer, but in service, dedication, and love.
