    Publish Date : April 1, 2026

    Jai Hind!

Today’s event is a celebration of the spirit of India, which conveys a remarkable message of unity amidst diversity. On this occasion, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all the citizens of Rajasthan and Odisha and wish them a bright, prosperous, and glorious future.

This auspicious occasion is not merely a celebration of the foundation day of two states, but also a celebration of the grand national consciousness that we embrace as “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.” It is not just a campaign, but a living expression of India’s cultural unity.

This initiative helps us realize that India is not merely a nation bound by geographical boundaries, but a vast family of diverse cultures, languages, traditions, and emotions. When one state adopts, understands, and celebrates the culture of another, only then is the true spirit of a ‘nation’ realized.

The credit for taking this great idea to the masses goes to the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Under his leadership, foundation days of various states are being celebrated across the country. This tradition is not merely a formality, but a powerful medium of emotional unity that binds India in the thread of “shared heritage and shared identity.”

When we talk about national unity, we must pay tribute to the great leader whose strong will and foresight laid the foundation of modern India. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel integrated more than 500 princely states and strengthened the unity of India. His life teaches us that with unwavering determination, no goal is impossible. Today’s event is a humble effort towards realizing his dream of an ‘Akhand Bharat.’

Today, we pay tribute to that land of valor known as Rajasthan. It is not just a state, but an immortal saga of bravery, sacrifice, and self-respect. The indomitable courage of Maharana Pratap, the unparalleled sacrifice of Panna Dhai, and the dignity of Rajput traditions are not just historical accounts, but inspirations that continue to guide our lives. Rajasthan’s vibrant culture, folk dances, music, architecture, and tradition of hospitality attract the entire world.

Similarly, Odisha is a unique confluence of spirituality, culture, and tradition. The sacred tradition of Lord Jagannath, the Sun Temple of Konark, the expressive grace of Odissi dance, and its rich folk culture glorify India’s cultural heritage. Odisha teaches us how to move forward with modernity while staying rooted in our traditions.

The greatest strength of India lies in its “unity in diversity.” Languages change, attire changes, food habits change, but the spirit of dedication to India remains the same. This is our strength, our identity, and the foundation of India’s greatness.

In today’s global environment, the importance of national unity has increased even further. Unity is the strength that provides stability, security, and prosperity to a nation. When we stand united, our collective power becomes limitless, enabling us to face any challenge with determination.

On this occasion, I would especially like to address the youth of Rajasthan and Odisha—you are the greatest strength of India’s future. You carry the pride of tradition and the enthusiasm of modernity. You are the torchbearers of the digital age, the creators of innovation, and the strong foundation of a developed India.

I urge you to stay connected to your roots while setting new benchmarks in science, technology, education, and entrepreneurship. Make “Nation First” your guiding principle and actively contribute to the country’s development. Every effort of yours will be a strong step toward making India a developed nation by 2047.

“Nation First, Nation Above All” is not just a slogan, but a way of life. When every citizen performs their duties keeping national interest above personal interest, only then does the nation become strong. We must resolve to rise above individual interests and prioritize the nation’s welfare.

Our country is a union of states, and each state contributes uniquely to India’s development. Rajasthan’s tourism, Odisha’s industrial growth, and Uttarakhand’s spirituality—all together enrich India. When all states progress together, India advances rapidly.

Today, we are moving toward the goal of “Viksit Bharat 2047.” This goal is not just of the government, but of every citizen. It will only be achieved when every state, every society, and every individual contributes. We must ensure that our development is inclusive, balanced, and sustainable.

Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, renowned worldwide for its spiritual heritage, natural beauty, and valor, is also actively contributing to this national mission. Its sacred land inspires us with the values of sacrifice, service, and dedication.

In conclusion, I urge all of you to make this great vision of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” a part of your lives. Let us respect each other’s cultures, learn from one another, and together take India to new heights.

Let us all pledge to contribute towards building a strong, self-reliant, and developed India while preserving our unity, integrity, and prosperity.

Vande Mataram! Bharat Mata Ki Jai! Jai Hind!
