Members of the Bharat Himalayan International Strategic Manch (BHISHM) think tank paid a courtesy visit to the Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd), at Lok Bhavan. The Governor held detailed discussions with the members on various strategic and global issues, drawing upon their vast experience and deep domain knowledge.

Senior former military officers and subject experts from the think tank also deliberated on the current global scenario and its national implications. The discussions covered evolving dimensions of modern warfare, including cyber and technological aspects, energy security, and potential impacts on the global economy.

On this occasion, the Governor appreciated the insights and expertise shared by the participants and stated that the global landscape is rapidly evolving. He emphasized that alongside traditional warfare, technological, informational, and economic dimensions have become equally significant. He noted that such meaningful and in-depth deliberations would not only strengthen policy direction but also play a crucial role in understanding emerging challenges and identifying effective solutions.
