The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd), was called on by experts associated with the maritime and strategic sectors at Lok Bhavan.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the ongoing geopolitical developments in the Middle East. The Governor highlighted India’s balanced, peaceful, and strategic approach in this context, stating that India has always remained committed to promoting global peace, stability, and cooperation.

The meeting also emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to strengthen strategic awareness, maritime security, and the protection of national interests. The Governor appreciated the insights and suggestions shared by the experts and noted that such deliberations are highly valuable for policy-making and awareness.
