Governor extends greetings to all citizens of the state on Basant Panchami

The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all citizens of the state on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami. He prayed to Goddess Saraswati to bless everyone with knowledge, joy, and good health.

In his message issued on the eve of Basant Panchami, the Governor said that the festival is not only a celebration of knowledge, learning, and wisdom, but also a symbol of nature’s renewal and fresh energy.

The Governor expressed hope that the knowledge bestowed by the blessings of Goddess Saraswati would inspire all to continuously move forward in the direction of public welfare, humanity, world peace, and the creation of a prosperous society.
