01-01-2026 : Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami called on the Governor at Lok Bhavan and extended New Year 2026 greetings.

On Thursday, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami called on the Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), at Lok Bhavan and extended New Year 2026 greetings. The Governor also conveyed his warm New Year wishes to the Chief Minister. On this occasion, a positive and meaningful discussion was held on issues related to the overall development of the state, public welfare, and good governance. Cabinet Minister Shri Ganesh Joshi also met the Governor and extended New Year greetings.

Subsequently, senior state officials, Vice-Chancellors of universities, ITBP officers, and officers and staff of Lok Bhawan met the Governor and conveyed their New Year greetings. On this occasion, the Governor extended New Year wishes to all officials, appreciated their sense of duty, discipline, and dedicated service, and described their contribution to strengthening the administrative framework of the state as significant.

Engaging in a positive dialogue with the officials on good governance, public service, and the comprehensive and sustainable development of Uttarakhand, the Governor expressed confidence that with coordinated efforts, the year 2026 will provide new momentum towards progress, stability, and public welfare, and that Uttarakhand will set new milestones of development.

On this occasion, Chief Secretary Shri Anand Bardhan, DGP Shri Deepam Seth, PCCF Shri Ranjan Kumar Mishra, along with senior IAS, IPS, and IFS officers, were present.
