31-12-2025 : The Governor planted tulip bulbs in the Lok Bhavan complex.

The Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), planted tulip bulbs in the Lok Bhavan complex. This year, a total of 4,000 tulip bulbs of 19 different varieties and colors are being planted at Lok Bhavan. These include early, mid, and late-blooming varieties, which will remain in full bloom until Vasantotsav 2025. During the festival, tulips in black, orange, and purple shades will be special highlights and major attractions.

For the first time in the state, 200 tulip bulbs of two varieties were planted on an experimental basis in the Lok Bhawan premises, the results of which were highly encouraging. Following this success, tulip bulbs of various new varieties are being planted continuously.

On this occasion, the First Lady, Mrs. Gurmit Kaur, Financial Controller Dr. Tripti Srivastava, and Horticulture Officer Mr. Deepak Purohit were also present.
