07-12-2025 : On the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day, Director, Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation, Shri Shyam Singh called on Hon’ble Governor at Lok Bhawan and pinned the Armed Forces Flag.

On the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day, Director, Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation, Shri Shyam Singh called on Hon’ble Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) at Lok Bhawan and pinned the Armed Forces Flag. On this occasion, the Governor contributed to the Armed Forces Flag Fund and appealed to the people of the state to also extend their support.

The Governor conveyed his best wishes to all serving soldiers, ex-servicemen, and the families of martyred soldiers, stating that Armed Forces Flag Day reminds us of the supreme sacrifices made by our brave soldiers in service of the nation.

The Governor said that Uttarakhand is a land of soldiers, and it is the responsibility of all of us to ensure maximum support to ex-servicemen and the families of martyred soldiers.

Deputy Director, Sainik Welfare Wing Commander Nidhi Badhani (Retd.), Shri Hemchandra Chaubey, and Shri Roop Singh Rawat were present on the occasion.
