04-11-2025:Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu Concludes Her Successful Visit to Nainital, Departs from Haldwani for New Delhi

Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, successfully concluded her visit to Nainital today. During her stay, the President offered prayers at Shri Maa Naina Devi Temple and Kainchi Dham Temple, seeking peace, prosperity, and well-being for the nation.

The President also graced the 20th Convocation Ceremony of Kumaun University, Nainital, as the Chief Guest, where she conferred medals and degrees upon meritorious students.

Following the conclusion of her engagements, Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu departed from Haldwani for New Delhi this evening.

On the occasion of her departure, Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.), Union Minister of State Shri Ajay Tamta, Commissioner Kumaon Division Deepak Rawat, IG Kumaon Riddhim Agarwal, District Magistrate Lalit Mohan Rayal, SSP Nainital Dr. Manjunath T.C., SSP Almora Devendra Pincha, and other officials were present at the helipad to bid her farewell.
