On Tuesday, the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, laid the foundation stone for the main gate of Raj Bhawan, Nainital. The Hon’ble Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), was also present on the occasion.

The foundation stone was laid during the programme marking the 125th anniversary of the historic Raj Bhawan, Nainital. The inauguration of the new main gate symbolizes a significant step towards the preservation and enhancement of this architectural and cultural heritage.

On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Secretary to the Governor Shri Ravinath Raman, Legal Advisor Kaushal Kishore Shukla, Additional Secretary Reena Joshi, and other officials were also present.
