18-09-2025 : Governor unveils coffee table book “Four Years of Service, Resolve and Dedication”.

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd.) today released the coffee table book “Seva, Sankalp aur Samarpan ke Char Varsh” (Four Years of Service, Resolve and Dedication) at Raj Bhavan. Compiled by the Raj Bhavan Information Complex, the book highlights the Governor’s achievements over his four-year tenure, completed on 15 September. It showcases his inspiring vision and initiatives in AI technology, education, women’s empowerment, youth guidance, and other social themes. A short film on the Governor’s four years of service was also screened.

On this occasion, the Governor felicitated officers and staff of Raj Bhavan for their exemplary work. Comptroller Shri Pramod Chamoli, who has served with dedication for over 23 years, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding management of household operations and event organisation.

The Governor praised Shri Chamoli for ensuring discipline, efficiency, and transparency in administrative processes. Congratulating all awardees, he said the honours reflect their honesty, commitment, and sense of duty, urging them to continue their work with the same dedication.

Highlighting the significance of Raj Bhawan as the face of the state, the Governor emphasised that every staff member plays a crucial role in promptly addressing public concerns and projecting a positive image of the institution.

The event was attended by Secretary to the Governor Shri Ravinath Raman, Legal Advisor Shri Kaushal Kishore Shukla, Additional Secretary Smt. Reena Joshi, Financial Controller Dr. Tripti Srivastava, Joint Director Information Dr. Nitin Upadhyay, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Mahavir Tyagi, Dr. A.K. Singh, AYUSH Medical Officer Dr. Pankaj Bacchus, along with other officers and staff of Raj Bhawan.
