16-09-2025 : Governor Offers Prayers on Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Jyoti Jot Diwas.

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) paid obeisance at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Doiwala, Dehradun, on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Jyoti Jot Diwas. He offered prayers for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state and the nation.

Addressing the gathering, the Governor said that following the path shown by Guru Nanak Dev Ji and living by his teachings is the true way to lead a meaningful life. The Guru’s core message—“Ik Onkar Satnam”—serves as a profound source of inspiration. His principles of righteousness, compassion, justice, and equality continue to guide all of humanity.

The Governor highlighted Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s timeless call of “Naam Japo, Kirat Karo,” noting that it embodies the essence of his entire philosophy. These sacred teachings inspire everyone to walk the path of goodness and foster unity within society.
