06-09-2025:Governor Commends Military Dental Centre for Free Dental Camp Benefiting Veterans and Families

Colonel Sanjeev Dattana of the Military Dental Centre, Dehradun, paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd), at Raj Bhawan today. During the meeting, Colonel Dattana briefed the Governor on the three-day free dental camp organized from 19th to 21st August at the Military Dental Centre.

He informed that a large number of ex-servicemen and their families participated in the camp and benefitted from the services provided. Colonel Dattana highlighted that the initiative was highly successful and proved particularly helpful for the veteran community.

The Governor appreciated the effort, stating that caring for veterans and their families is a duty of utmost importance. He observed that such initiatives are not only beneficial but also serve as an inspiration for society. The Governor further announced that another free dental camp will be organized in the near future, extending the services to civilian citizens as well.
