Governor Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Gurmit Singh held a meeting with the officers and employees engaged in the security of Raj Bhawan on Wednesday. During this, the Governor also listened to the problems of the officers and employees engaged in security.

In the meeting, the Governor said that very important responsibilities are being discharged by all the officers and employees engaged in security. The Governor said that along with checking as per rules, care should always be taken for the welcome and respect of all the visitors coming to the Raj Bhawan.

He directed the officers that care should be taken that no problem should be caused to any employee engaged in duty. The Governor directed to strengthen the barracks of the security personnel as well as to fix their seating areas and toilets etc. He said that the employees doing good work would be honored and encouraged.

In the meeting, Legal Advisor Mr. Amit Kumar Sirohi, Additional Secretary Mrs. Swati S. Bhadauria, ADC Ms. Rachita Juyal, Finance Controller Dr. Tripti Shrivastava, Officer on Special Duty Mr. V.P. Nautiyal, Chief Security Officer Shri Shiv Kumar, Comptroller Shri Pramod Chamoli and security personnel posted at Raj Bhawan were present.
