Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) has greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti.

In his message, the Governor said that Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar had devoted his life to the upliftment of the poor, downtrodden and helpless by standing for social justice and equality. “We must follow the path shown by him and resolve to create a society based on equality”. He said we all must make an effort to remove all discrimination from society for the progress of the nation”.
