24-12-2021:Governor remembered former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji.

Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) remembered former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. Governor paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji on his birth anniversary.

The Governor said in his message that Atal ji was a great leader not only of India but of the world. His role was important in the formation of Uttarakhand state, for which the people of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand will continue to remember him forever. His whole life was devoted to the service of the poor and downtrodden. During his prime ministership, the country attained new dimensions of progress.

The Governor said that every year his birth anniversary is celebrated as Good Governance Day. He said that on the occasion of Good Governance Day, all of us should take the resolution that the common people should get the benefits of government’s policies and welfare schemes.
