30-11-2025:Governor of Goa, arrived at Raj Bhawan Dehradun on the evening of 29 November during his visit to Uttarakhand

The Hon’ble Governor of Goa, Shri P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, arrived at Raj Bhawan Dehradun on the evening of 29 November during his visit to Uttarakhand, where he was welcomed by the Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd). During the courtesy meeting, both dignitaries held discussions on various important subjects including higher education, innovation, technological advancement, youth skill development, women empowerment, and sustainable & inclusive development.

The Governor of Goa appreciated the brief cultural presentation organised in his honour, and praised the rich cultural heritage and hospitality traditions of Uttarakhand. He said that the culture of Uttarakhand is deeply connected to nature and imbued with spirituality.

This morning, the Governor of Goa visited the Rajlakshmi Gaushala, Raja Bhagirath Garden, Yoga Centre, Nakshatra Vatika, Bonsai Garden, and other key areas within the Raj Bhawan premises. He commended the cleanliness, management, and serene environment of Raj Bhawan, while also expressing admiration for the lush greenery and pleasant climate of Uttarakhand.
