DGP Deepam Seth Calls on Governor Dr. Dhal Singh Bisen

Director General of Police, Uttarakhand, Shri Deepam Seth, called on Governor Dr. Dhal Singh Bisen at Lok Bhavan on Friday and paid a courtesy visit.

During the meeting, the DGP briefed the Governor in detail on the prevailing law and order situation in the state, police preparedness in view of the upcoming Kumbh Mela-2027 and Assembly elections, arrangements for the observance of National Unity Day, and preparations for the President’s Police Colour Parade scheduled to be held on November 6.

The Governor emphasised the need to continuously strengthen law and order in the state, with particular focus on preventing cyber crimes and taking effective action against the illegal drug trade. He directed that security arrangements be further strengthened in view of the upcoming festive season and that the verification drive for people from outside the state be conducted effectively.

The Governor also extended his heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all serving and retired officers and personnel of the Uttarakhand Police on the force being conferred the prestigious President’s Police Colour.
