30-09-2025 : Governor meets delegation from Jain community.

A delegation from the Jain community paid a courtesy call on Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd.) at Raj Bhawan today. On this occasion, the Governor held discussions with the members on social, educational, and contemporary issues.

The Governor appreciated the Jain community’s tradition of upholding the noble life values of non-violence, truth, discipline, and education. He noted that the community has consistently made significant contributions in the fields of service, culture, and social welfare. In particular, their initiatives in education and value-based learning serve as an inspiration for future generations.

The delegation also apprised the Governor of their activities, social initiatives, and the challenges associated with them.
