Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) today visited the residence of the late Lieutenant General M.M. Lakhera (Retd.), former Governor of Mizoram and Puducherry, in Dehradun and paid floral tributes to him.

On the occasion, the Governor met the bereaved family members and conveyed his heartfelt condolences. He prayed that they be granted strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. He said that Lieutenant General Lakhera’s distinguished contributions to the nation through his military leadership, public service, and dedication to national service will always remain a source of inspiration.
