Governor Extends Greetings on the Occasion of Buddha Purnima

Hon’ble Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima.

In his message, the Governor said that the teachings of Gautama Buddha—truth, non-violence, compassion, and kindness—are even more relevant in today’s world. He stated that these values inspire humanity to serve others and promote harmony in society.

He expressed hope that by following the path shown by Lord Buddha, the spirit of peace, tolerance, and public welfare will be further strengthened in society. On this auspicious occasion, the Governor wished all citizens happiness, prosperity, and good health.
