Governor Smt Baby Rani Maurya inaugurated Woman Senior National Wrestling Championship 2020 in Agra on Saturday. Governor Smt Maurya talked to the women wrestlers and encouraged them.
Congratulating the Organisers Governor Smt Maurya said that the wrestling competition would encourage the talented women wrestlers. Sports have very important role in overall personality development. Women players have significantly contributed in the field of sports in India. Today India has become global power in the field of Woman wrestling .
Governor Smt Maurya added that girls should be encouraged towards sports along with studies. Today women are equally contributing in the development of nation. She appealed the people to encourage their daughters in every field. Support the daughters to encourage the women empowerment in the nation.
Officials of District Woman Wrestling Organization Agra and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
