    29-07-2021:Governor took details about preparedness for the possibility of a third wave of COVID-19 from DG Health

    Governor Smt. Baby Rani Maurya gave direction to DG Health to start operation of Red Cross Hospitals in the state effectively considering the possibility of a third wave of COVID-19. Governor said doctors, nurses, paramedical staff should be made available in these hospitals. Governor Smt. Maurya took details about preparedness for the possibility of a third wave of COVID-19 from DG Health on Thursday at Rajbhawan.

    DG Health Dr. Tripti Bahuguna informed that 28112 isolation beds without oxygen support, 6572 isolation beds with oxygen support, 1655 ICU beds, 1014 ventilators, 24 oxygen generation plants, 15803 oxygen cylinders, 5600 oxygen concentrators, 2351 medical officers, 11 RTPCR testing lab, 64 True NAT machines and 459 ambulance are available in the state. State has 1945 pediatric oxygen beds and 739 NICU/PICU beds earmarked for the child COVID cases. Essential medicines at the community Health centre, primary health centre, sub centre will be made available by 10th August 2021.
