Governor Smt. Baby Rani Maurya has greeted and congratulated the media representatives and all the people associated with Hindi journalism on Hindi Journalism Day. In her message, Governor Smt. Maurya said that Hindi journalism has made a significant contribution in the formation of the nation and society, while promoting and spreading the national language Hindi in the entire country. It is a matter of pride that on May 30, 1826, Pandit Yugal Kishore Shukla started the publication of the first Hindi newspaper “Udant Martand”. He said that journalists are the true watchmen of the nation like soldiers, by eradicating the evils spread within the country, journalists make their important contribution in nation building.
