The Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), was paid a courtesy call today at Lok Bhawan by the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar, Prof. Ramakant Pandey.

On the occasion, the Governor extended his best wishes to Prof. Pandey on assuming his new responsibility. The Governor also held discussions on academic activities of the University, ongoing research work, and matters related to the preservation and promotion of the Sanskrit language.
