25-02-2021 : Annual Flower Exhibition will be held on 13-14 March, 2021 at Rajbhawan

Rajbhawan,Dehradun, February 25th, 2021

This year Annual Flower Exhibition will be held on 13-14 March, 2021 at Rajbhawan Dehradun. The decision was made during the meeting chaired by Governor Smt Baby Rani Maurya on Thursday at Rajbhawan. Governor Smt Maurya will inaugurate this flower exhibition at 9 am. Flower exhibition will be opened for people at 11 am.
Governor gave directions to reserve 2 hours for the children in the spring festival. Children from the poor and weaker sections will be invited specially. Governor said that flower exhibition should be beneficial for the floriculturists. New categories of indoor plants, herbal plants and aromatic plants should be presented. All the precautions should be taken considering the COVID 19. Thermal scanning, sanitizer, mask etc should be available at the entry gate. volunteers from the red cross should be available in adequate numbers to ensure the Social distancing . Stalls of women self help groups should be given priority. Only packed food will be available at food stalls.
Secretary horticulture Shri Harbansh Chugh, additional secretary to governor Shri Jitender kumar sonkar and other concerned officers were present.
