The Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), met with the Secretary, Information Technology (IT), Mr. Nitesh Kumar Jha, at Lok Bhavan as part of a courtesy call. During the meeting, the Governor discussed issues related to digital innovation, administrative efficiency, and making citizen services more effective and accessible through the use of technology.

The Governor said that the effective use of information technology not only enhances transparency and efficiency in administrative functioning but also ensures the timely, simple, and seamless delivery of public services to citizens. He emphasized the need to further promote innovation, digital governance, and a technology-driven work culture in the state.
