25-05-2021:Governor left the vehicle for the districts to help the people affected by COVID-19 and their families.

Rajbhawan, Dehradun, May 25 , 2021

Governor Smt. Baby Rani Maurya flagged off the vehicle carrying medicines, hygiene kits, gloves, thermometers, surgical masks, sanitizers, oximeters, sanitary napkins, PPE Kits and ration kits for the COVID-19 patients and their families in the hilly districts of the State. Governor said that capable people should take initiative to help the needy people. People have to work collectively in fighting against COVID-19. It is to be mentioned that with the inspiration of Governor Smt. Maurya, Welham Boys’ School in association with AAN Charitable Trust started this COVID relief initiative under the Project Samvedna.

Secretary to Governor Shri Brijesh Kumar Sant, Additional Secretary Shri Jitender Kumar Sonkar, Principal of Welham Boys’ School Ms Sangeeta Kain and Mrs Namita Gupta from AAN Charitable Trust were present on the occasion.
