Governor Dr. Dhal Singh Bisen Offers Prayers at Badrinath Dham, Prays for the Prosperity and Well-being of Uttarakhand

Appeals to Devotees to Preserve the Cultural Heritage of Devbhoomi and Contribute to Building a Clean and Drug-Free Society

Governor Dr. Dhal Singh Bisen visited Shri Badrinath Dham and offered prayers at the sacred shrine of Lord Badri Vishal. He performed the traditional rituals and prayed for the happiness, prosperity, peace, progress and well-being of the people of Uttarakhand.

On the occasion, the Governor said that the rich cultural heritage and spiritual traditions of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand are an invaluable legacy, and preserving them is the collective responsibility of all. He appealed to devotees to contribute towards protecting the state’s rich cultural traditions, religious heritage and distinctive identity.

The Governor said that every citizen should play a positive role in the national interest and work towards strengthening the spirit of social harmony, mutual cooperation and public welfare. He appealed to all devotees to respect the sanctity and dignity of religious places, contribute towards keeping Uttarakhand clean and drug-free, and help preserve and promote the state’s unique cultural identity.

During his visit, the Governor prayed to Lord Badri Vishal for the fulfilment of the wishes of all devotees and for the continued peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Uttarakhand.

The Governor’s wife, Smt. Bhanumati Bisen, was also present on the occasion.
