22-03-2021 : Governor inaugurates All India Farmers Fair and Agro Industry Exhibition

Raj Bhawan, Dehradun,22nd March , 2021

Governor Smt. Baby Rani Maurya inaugurated the 109th All India Farmer’s Fair and Agro Industrial Exhibition at G B Pant Agriculture and Technology, University on Monday. Congratulating the University for organizing farmer fair Governor Smt. Maurya said that farmers are contributing to the development of the country. People promoted agriculture during the COVID-19 which is good for the future of the country. Governor said farming of medicinal herbs should be promoted in the state of Uttarakhand. Women self help groups should be trained for the purpose. Governor appealed that water conservation should be promoted across the state. We should encourage the use of organic manure in farming, said the governor.
