The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), was paid a courtesy call on Thursday at Lok Bhavan by Dr. Neeraj Dwivedi, Director, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kashipur. During the meeting, Dr. Dwivedi briefed the Governor on the initiatives undertaken by IIM Kashipur in the areas of academic excellence, research, and industry–academia collaboration.

On this occasion, the Governor said that prestigious institutions like IIM Kashipur are playing a significant role in preparing the youth of the state to meet global standards of competitiveness. He emphasized the need to link education with innovation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.
