Governor extends greetings to the people of the state on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), paid tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary and extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the country and the state on the occasion of Parakram Diwas.

In his message issued on the eve of the occasion, the Governor said that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was a great revolutionary, a fearless patriot, and a towering nationalist leader. Through his exceptional organizational ability, extraordinary courage, and remarkable leadership skills, he gave a new direction to India’s freedom movement.

The Governor said that the entire life of Netaji stands as a symbol of selfless service to the nation, sacrifice, and unwavering determination. He called upon the youth to draw inspiration from Netaji’s powerful ideals and thoughts and play an active role in nation-building.
