Governor Felicitates Achievers at “Ek Pahadi Aisa Bhi” Awards

The Governor, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd), participated in the “Ek Pahadi Aisa Bhi” Awards organized by 93.5 Red FM at Nanda Ki Chowki, Dehradun. On the occasion, he felicitated individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of society, culture, environment, education, and entrepreneurship.

Congratulating all awardees, the Governor extended his best wishes for their bright future. The honourees included Mohini Koranga (Bageshwar), Vijay Jardari (Tehri), Manish Kasniyal (Pithoragarh), Krishna Kudiyal (Uttarkashi), Jagdish Pant (Udham Singh Nagar), Mukesh Sati (Chamoli), Rita Gahtori (Champawat), Naresh Singh Nayal (Dehradun), Jeevan Chandra Joshi (Nainital), Pradeep Negi (Haridwar), and Kailashanand (Almora).

Addressing the gathering, the Governor said that there are numerous unsung heroes in society whose stories of struggle and success serve as a source of inspiration for all. He noted that such platforms not only honour achievements but also present these individuals as role models for society.

He emphasized that all the awardees have achieved success through determination, courage, and hard work despite facing challenges. Their journeys convey a strong message that one must continue to move forward with perseverance, regardless of obstacles.

The Governor also highlighted the importance of recognizing and utilizing opportunities at the right time. He said that consistent efforts and the ability to seize opportunities are key to success, as demonstrated by all the honourees.

He added that while society is full of positive, creative, and dynamic energy, many people hesitate to move forward due to self-doubt. Platforms like these encourage individuals to believe in their abilities and strive ahead. He appreciated the efforts of the Red FM team for bringing such inspiring individuals to the forefront.

The programme was attended by Station Head Rajat Shakti and other dignitaries.
